A global union federation that represents over 50 million workers in 140 countries across mining, energy and manufacturing sectors.
A global works council representing all Solvay workers worldwide. One of the tasks is to ensure the implementation of the global framework agreement.
The European Works Council is the formal representative body for all European workers at Solvay including the UK.

The Global Framework Agreement sets clear standards and principles regarding Solvay’s responsibility in its dealings with employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, communities, residents living near its sites, the environment, and natural resources worldwide.
